Our Broken Mindset About Fairness In Life

Most of us have been through days where we find life seemingly unfair. However, the reality of Life is always fair, it just depends on which perspective you view Life to be. It is our outlook of equality in this life that needs to be fixed. None of us can win forever and when you are losing, most of what goes on around you will naturally just look grossly unfair to you. The concrete rules of life should be evident to all of us and the main reason why most of us never really get to comprehend them is because the rules can appear to be uncomfortable for us to face them upfront.

All of us go about our lives yearning for some sort of authority or control. This idea of authority holds different meaning to each of us. No matter how differing this notion may mean for us, it will always converge to each of our own sense of self. Our sense of self is an integral part of our lives. It helps to define the choices that we have in this world and it enables us to be independent and the courage to act upon our will. It is only when our ego and self-interest are in balance that we feel a sense of empowerment in our lives.

Whether we like it or not, we have to face the fact that everyday life is a race in today's capitalistic society. A lot of what we do only start to become noteworthy when compared relatively with what others have done in this crowded space. We will stop at nothing in the bid to become that guru in our fields. Everything in demand will always be on a competitive scale and the best becomes available only to those who are really fighting for it. Even if it sometimes means that some other things in our lives have to be sacrificed. This is simply because it drives our day-to-day living with vigour.

Life is indeed fair and will always be played out by different sets of guidelines defined by our egos. Most of us get so hung up on how the world should work that we seem to be blinded about how it actually does. Facing that reality may just be the key to unlocking your true understanding of the world, and with it, all of life's possibility.
